His work appears in select galleries throughout Britain and has exhibited in Eire, Belgium, Germany, Spain, Canada and The United States.

His reputation has grown steadily since leaving the teaching profession in 1997 to devote himself totally to the pursuit and development of his own artistic career, and having featured in International Artist magazine as a finalist in their global landscape competition.

Travelling extensively throughout Scotland and the continent he is forever fascinated by the visual imagery he encounters on reaching his destined ports of call. Each day presents a new cuadro of settings, of movement, colour, rhythm and pattern. These, coupled with a free flow of imaginative translation, have provided him with material to create a fusion of life, of shimmering colours, distinctive buildings of the land, and abstract expressionistic vistas.
